Joseph A. Lypowy is an FAA certified drone pilot/photographer. In order to use drone photography or video for commercial purposes, the photographer must be FAA certified. An FAA certified drone pilot has completed special courses and tests provided by the FAA to certify he or she can safely operate an unmanned aerial device according to FAA aviation rules.
